A mountain hike with a difference.
Join Dr. Joyce Azzam, Everest & Seven Summits Mountaineer, for an empowering hike along Al Rabi Trail, combining movement, meaningful conversation and reflection as we make our way toward the summit.
Adults: AED 290 per person
Young hikers (ages 8–15): AED 180 per person
OVERVIEW
Al Rabi Trail feels like a small mountain climb.
We gradually make our way upward, following the mountain trail as the views open over Khor Fakkan, until we eventually reach the summit.
But this MounTurtle experience isn’t only about reaching the top.
The hike is part of our Hiking Workshops Series, created around the idea that walking in nature can open space for conversations that don’t always happen in our everyday lives.
Throughout the hike, Joyce will bring in moments of storytelling, conversation and reflection inspired by her own journey through Everest, the Seven Summits and almost two decades in the mountains.
Together, we explore themes of change, resilience, courage and the power of taking small steps toward bigger goals.
There is also space simply to walk, talk, meet other people and enjoy being in the mountains.
One trail. One summit. Plenty to think about along the way.
THE EXPERIENCE
HIKE
We follow Al Rabi Trail through the mountains above Khor Fakkan, gradually gaining elevation until we reach the summit. The trail gives newcomers the experience of working toward a real mountain objective without requiring previous mountaineering experience.CONNECT
Mountains have a wonderful way of changing conversations. Away from screens, offices and everyday routines, we walk alongside other people, exchange stories and allow conversations to happen naturally. It is an opportunity to connect with others, with nature and with yourself.GROW
Along the trail, Joyce will share stories and lessons from her own mountaineering journey and introduce moments of reflection around overcoming challenges, adapting to change and continuing toward a goal when the summit still feels far away. There is no classroom and no PowerPoint. The mountain becomes the workshop.YOUR MOUNTAIN LEADER
